Kelham House Country Manor is an Edwardian Manor House in Nottinghamshire, independently owned and operated since 2009. Licensed for civil ceremonies with 12 ensuite bedrooms and award winning food. Set in 9 acres of landscaped lawns and enclosed woodland plantations, Kelham House is a flexible, beautiful venue which will meet all your needs.
Kelham House is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in three beautiful rooms. From small, intimate occasions to larger celebrations with up to 110 guests, Kelham House has the perfect space for your event. The venue is an idyllic setting all year round; in the warmer months, you and your guests can enjoy a few drinks on the lawns while the roaring log fires provide a cosy setting in winter.
We take pride in our flexible, personal approach to your big day, tailoring every detail to suit you. On your wedding day, you could enjoy exclusive use of the hotel and its stunning grounds, while smaller occasions can benefit from a more selective service. As well as our Autumn/Winter wedding packages, we offer special packages for midweek occasions.
Throughout your wedding plans, we are on hand to help as much, or as little, as you require. From flowers to photography, music to menus, we're able to offer support and advice to ensure your day runs smoothly.
For your wedding breakfast and catering for the day, our talented Chef and their team will work closely with you to create your ideal menu. The delicious dishes, with accompanying wines and champagne, are complemented by the first-class service provided for a truly memorable dining experience.

We have ample carparking for all your guests on site.
We are an exclusive Wedding and Events venue, meaning you will be the only wedding we host that day. Our venue is exclusive to you and your guests with no members of the public around. The grounds are also exclusively yours.
Yes we do - we have a team that will help plan your day and meet with your regularly. They will also be there on the day to ensure all your requirements and requests are met. They will keep everything running smoothly and to time.
Yes - with all our 3 course Wedding Breakfast options we invite you to come along and try the food. Additional guests can be added on a price per head basis.
Yes we are can host civil ceremonies indoors or outdoors. We have a choice of 2 indoor spaces depending on your guest numbers.
Yes - our outdoor gazebo is licensed for ceremonies.
Corkage options are available.
Evening caterers can be provided by yourself and we do have the option for you to provide your own caterers for the whole day. Speak to the team to discuss this further.
Access is from 7am however we encourage you to drop off everything to us the day before and we'll work our magic and put everything out for you, keeping your wedding day stress free for you.

We have two options for couples on the night of their wedding.
Yes we have 12 en-suite bedrooms on site. Extra beds can be added to all rooms. Breakfast is included.

Our Sustainability Commitments
As a small, family-owned business we take the responsibility for our environmental impact seriously and are committed to research and implement efficiencies and improvements where and when possible. Independently operated since 2010 we have made many improvements and additions to increase efficiency, reduce waste and maintain a focus on continued opportunities to enhance the ESR credentials of our heritage buildings. Some examples of the projects we have and will continue to carry out are below… Use LED lightbulbs and fittings across our whole estate, 90% LED lighting fittings achieved in 2023. Thermostatically controlled heating zoned by floor/area for optimal control & efficiency, remote monitoring and control system installed in January 2024 to increase efficiency. 14kwh solar PV system with battery storage fitted at Kelham House in January 2024. Reduced single-use plastic by 75% since 2021 with continued focus. Recycle raw food waste by composting at both properties, with 50% of fruit and vegetable waste donated to local animal shelters to be used as animal feed. Recycle coffee bean grounds into composting at both properties. Introduction of ¼ acre kitchen garden in 2020 to grow own herbs, fruit, and vegetables. Greenhouses were installed in 2020 and will be increased in 2024 to grow our flowers and plants for gardens. Using a water recovery system to reduce water consumption since 2017. Using local suppliers wherever possible to reduce the carbon footprint on the supply chain since 2009.
