Situated in the heart of Abingdon, the historic Kings Head and Bell is a truly unique pub serving the local community serving up a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from craft beer to cocktails and everything in between. Our fantastic drinks selection is accompanied by a fresh menu offering. It’s also a perfect spot to book your private celebration.

The characterful King Charles Room, situated on the first floor, is ideal for events up to 80 people standing, 50 seated (30 for a wedding). With its bar, dedicated toilet facilities and balcony it’s a great space to hold celebrations, events and meetings with complete privacy.

The private bar, which can be fully stocked with a wide range of drinks and manned by one of our team making it easy for your party to top up their drinks.

Not only is our function room a large space to hold your event, the private balcony also allows your guests to enjoy fresh air and views across the garden without venturing through the main pub.


The room can be set up for business meetings utilising the large screen TV. It is also available for fun events utilising the full-size table tennis table – perfect for after work competitions.
