About Parkhill Hotel
Parkhill Hotel brings several distinct spaces together for weddings and celebrations in a country-house setting in Suffolk. Couples can use the Barn, a character-filled space with original beams, wood flooring and red brick that can hold up to 200 guests and has its own bar and toilets.
Slightly smaller is the Coach House, a former 18th-century coach house with exposed beams and French windows and room for up to 100 people for a buffet or disco. From April to October an outdoor Marquee on the lawns in front of the main house expands options with a large built-in dance floor lit by star lights and a private bar, and it can hold up to 250 guests for buffet/disco style celebrations. In addition, there’s the Green Room, a private dining area that seats up to 14 for smaller gatherings.
The hotel is licensed for ceremonies on site. Spaces can be hired from mid-morning through to midnight, and couples choosing self-catered hire are provided with tables, chairs and linens, while staff run the bar. Alternatively, catered options are available with flexible menus. A policy on alcohol requires pre-arranged drinks for which corkage has been paid if outside alcohol is brought in. All function spaces have facilities aimed at making events self-contained, with dedicated bar and toilet areas where noted.
