About East Dean & Friston Village Hall
An elegant contemporary Village Hall offering a stunning celebration venue situated in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, at the eastern end of the South Downs National Park, surrounded by the beautiful South Downs.
The wedding reception package includes exclusive use of the whole East Dean & Friston Village Hall (both Halls and the kitchen) from 1pm on the day before the reception to 12 noon on the day after the reception. We provide the facilities below; you arrange your own catering, refreshments, entertainment and, of course, the guests! The Hall has two modern rooms with access to a luxury kitchen and self-catering facilities. The premises are licensed for music and alcohol. If you want to run your own bar, that’s fine; if alcohol is for sale you would need a Temporary Events License at a nominal cost. The largest of our two halls can seat up to 120 people and the second can seat up to 50 people, all subject to configuration.We have fourteen large round tables seating 6/8 people, and ten long tables seating 6/8, There are also 20 small square tables seating 4 people, all with tablecloths and chairs. You choose the combination. There is a fully fitted kitchen with commercial sized cooker, microwave, dishwasher (4 minute cycle) and fridges. Crockery, cutlery and glasses for 100+ people are available. There is free car parking facilities, easy access for disabled, free wi-fi, close to East Dean Church, the Village Green and Tiger Inn.
