Situated in the pretty medieval village of Alfriston with its charming shops, The Star is an enchanting wedding venue that promises a magical and memorable celebration. As you approach the 15th-century former coaching inn, the charm of its rustic exterior and the warm glow of its open fireplaces will instantly draw you in.

The light-filled Dining Room can accommodate up to 100 guests for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. The adjacent Library offers a more intimate setting for pre-dinner drinks.

The Pilgrim’s Room is a large space situated on the first floor above the Inn. The space accommodates parties of up to 30 seated for dinner or 54 seated for a ceremony.

Outside, the Mediterranean style Courtyard and Walled Garden create an enchanting backdrop for your special day. Exchange vows in the Walled Garden surrounded by vibrant blooms, pleached laurels and the gentle sound of birdsong.
