Edes House is a beautiful Grade 1 Listed building in the heart of Chichester, ideal for your wedding ceremony.

Elegant and perfectly situated in the heart of historic Chichester, Edes House is a perfect venue to celebrate your wedding or Civil Partnership.

Whether you are planning an intimate gathering of close loved ones or a large celebration with family or friends, Edes House will provide a beautifully romantic setting for your special day.

This Georgian mansion is centrally placed, has some free guest parking, and is easily accessible for disabled people.

There are five rooms to hire with our largest holding a maximum of 60 guests. Our smallest room holds 6 which is just right for a really intimate wedding.

The rooms have wonderful art and antiques on display, which will delight your guests and add to the wonderful ambience of your wedding day.

The house is licensed, and you can choose from a range of champagne, wine and soft drinks, along with a selection of canapés, with prices to suit every budget. Because every wedding is different and some couples wish to continue their celebrations with us, following the ceremony we can also offer full catering within a marquee situated on the lawns of Edes House.
The steps and lawns make a delightful backdrop for photographs.
