About Brangwyn Hall
The venue offers nine rooms for hire and can hold events for between 20 and 500 guests. The main Brangwyn Hall seats 400 to 500 people for dining, while the George Hall and the Lord Mayor's Reception Room provide settings for more intimate events. As Brangwyn Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies, both the ceremony and reception can be held at the venue. Located within walking distance of Victoria Park and Swansea Bay, interested parties can contact the team to arrange a visit.
Part of Swansea’s Guildhall complex, Brangwyn Hall has been a centre for cultural and civic life since its inauguration in 1934. The building’s Art Deco design provides a distinctive setting for events and is located a short distance from Swansea Bay. A defining feature is the collection of sixteen large-scale artworks known as the British Empire Panels. Created by artist Sir Frank Brangwyn, the panels were originally commissioned in 1924 for the House of Lords and were later acquired by Swansea Council, with the hall adapted specifically to house them.
