About Grand Hotel Gosforth Park
The Grand Hotel Gosforth Park sits on the edge of Newcastle upon Tyne with 12 acres of parkland around it and a mix of flexible indoor and outdoor space for celebrations. Couples can choose from different function suites for their ceremony and reception, with the Classics Suite seating up to 150 in the day and the larger Grandstand Suite hosting up to 300 during wedding breakfasts and up to 450 for evening receptions.
Across these spaces there is scope for both more intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, and room hire includes licensed areas indoors with the option to use outdoor settings for parts of the day.
All wedding packages include a Bridal Suite for the newly married couple. Bedrooms for guests are available at discounted rates that can be arranged through the dedicated wedding coordinator, and leisure facilities such as the hotel’s spa, pool and gym are available to guests during their stay.
Civil ceremony licences can be arranged in most of the function rooms and outdoors, and the venue’s team liaises on catering and entertainment to fit the arrangements couples request. Minimum and maximum catering numbers vary by suite, with the Classics Suite accommodating from 40 up to 150 daytime guests and the Grandstand Suite from 100 up to 300 daytime guests, expanding for evening numbers.
