Facilities and Capacity
Steeped in history and set on over 150 acres, this property was thought to be the last campsite of Richard III's army before the battle of Bosworth. For your big day, you'll have access to 3 large kata tipis and 1 kungs tipi. The kata tipis can be decorated to your specifications and they're ideal for hosting a wedding breakfast or evening reception. The kungs tipi provides additional space for you and your guests to kick back and relax. Say 'I do' on the property with a celebrant-led ceremony that can take place outdoors or inside the spacious tents. A photographer's dream, this venue provides ample opportunities for stunning images of your special day. Once night falls, enchanting fairy lights and a flickering firepit create a warm atmosphere for dancing and celebrating.

FAQs
Yes. The Tipi and surrounding grassed area is exclusively yours between 12pm and 12am.
Not yet but we will be sometime in 2023! You can also have a celebrant wedding. Celebrants offer the chance to completely personalise your ceremony to you, creating a meaningful and completely unique experience. Although currently not legally binding, it’s a great option if you want your ceremony to follow a different format and couples often go to the registry office to be legally wed before or after.
Yes you can! You can have it underneath our gorgeous mini kata hat!
We have a catering tent adjacent to the rear of the tipi, so your catering supplier has adequate space to prepare and serve. You can use any catering supplier you wish, popular ones for a tipi wedding include street food style venders. Our top two recommendations are Saffron Catering and Black Peppermint Food Co. Both local and trusted suppliers.
Unfortunately this is not possible at Sheepy Meadows you must only drink alcohol from a licenced provider.
You can access the venue the morning of your wedding, this will allow you time to dress the venue to your requirements.
You are welcome to bring a glamping supplier onsite. Please contact us to discuss prior to booking your wedding.
We have a full list of local accommodation which we can provide you with.
As we are a working farm and there is a risk to livestock and wildlife, unfortunately, we don’t allow fireworks, sparklers or Chinese lanterns onsite.
We take last orders for drinks at 11:15pm and close the bar at 11.30. We ask all guests that are not staying onsite to have left by 12am. DJs must finish by 11:30pm. If you choose to have a silent disco this may continue until 12.00am Suppliers must collect all hired items by the end of the night as we do not have storage for larger items. We have a limited amount of storage onsite, and you are welcome to leave smaller items overnight and collect them the next day. Any items left onsite are left at the owners risk and we cannot be held liable for loss or damage.
Music can be provided by DJs and acoustic acts and will need to be delivered through our inhouse sound system. Live bands are permitted but must use electric drum kits and go through our speakers, complying with our sound limits. Our in house sound system is optimised for low noise pollution but keeps the energy high on the dance floor. This is out of respect for our neighbours and the surrounding environment.
Confetti is allowed but as we are a sustainable venue we would prefer natural confetti that is bio degradable.
Candles are allowed during the wedding and reception provided they are fully contained or in a candelabra. Candles in candelabras may be lit through dinner and extinguished after the speeches.
No.
We’re complete dog lovers here, but due to wildlife in the area and the interest of other guests’ safety, only guide dogs are allowed onsite.
