I'm Jordan McClements, an Oxfordshire-based Travel Counsellor specialising in luxury honeymoons, destination weddings, and hen and stag dos. Having had my own honeymoon cancelled by Covid, I know exactly how much these trips matter, and I take real care over every detail for my couples. I am fully accredited and financially protected, with a personal, no obligation service and a reply within 24 hours.
I didn't start out in travel. I spent years working as a scientist before realising I wanted more flexibility and, honestly, more time talking to people rather than staring at data. Planning trips gave me both, and turned out to be the thing I should have been doing all along.
Honeymoons are personal to me too, and not just in the way you'd expect. My husband and I had our own honeymoon planned to Borneo, somewhere completely different to anywhere we'd been before, and then Covid happened, and we never got to go. It was genuinely gutting. That experience is a big part of why I do this job the way I do. I want to make sure the couples I work with never have their honeymoon taken away from them the way mine was, whether that's building in the right protection, planning around risk, or simply making sure every detail is handled properly from the start.
