November 2017 - The Parliamentary Review
As there are a lot of successful SMEs in the wedding industry it makes us an obvious target for a letter from former Tory minister Lord Pickles to be included in The Parliamentary Review.Â
With a foreword from the Prime Minister and the Chancellor and a launch party at the Palace of Westminster you’d be forgiven for thinking The Parliamentary Review was an official government publication about industry best practice and being included as a contributor would be a great endorsement for your company.
The Parliamentary Review is published by Westminster Publications which, despite its name, is not published by Parliament nor Westminster. The letter invites you to phone for further information, which includes the minor detail that the cost for inclusion is £3500.Â
Ironically, industry best practice would dictate that reputable companies would never pay for an endorsement...
