'This or That Tuesdays' Marketing Feature with Guides for Brides

Want to boost your exposure and engagement? Or perhaps you want the opportunity to do some market research? Guides for Brides can give you a feature in our weekly 'This or That Tuesdays' Instagram Story to do just that! Read on to find out more about what it is and how it can help you...

What is This or That Tuesdays?

This or That Tuesdays is a weekly interactive game on our Instagram Stories, that has been running since November 2020. Each week, we feature a different wedding supplier.  We find this works best for suppliers that have physical products or a result from a service to show, e.g. florists, jewellers, bridal boutiques, makeup artists, etc.

The game starts with an introduction, and is then followed 4 - 8 comparisons (up to 16 images), where there will be a poll for viewers to vote which style they prefer.  It ends with a final closing post that includes a swipe-up link directly to your Guides for Brides listing.  Your Instagram page will also be tagged in every single post.

This or That Tuesday with Ellie Sanderson

Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique was one of our most successful This or That Tuesday features. They wanted to use the feature to boost their Instagram engagement and show brides the beautiful range of wedding dresses they stock.

With over 1,500 people taking part in the voting, Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique had a whopping 318 clicks to their Instagram profile and 28 swipe ups linking directly to their Guides for Brides listing. Our viewers loved the stunning dresses and were really intrigued to find out more about their boutiques, and potentially book an appointment.

"Thank you for our feature in This or That Tuesdays. The results are fabulous and we did see the spike on our socials on the day it happened. Thank you so much for doing it!" - Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique

How This or That Tuesdays can benefit you

There are so many benefits to being featured on This or That Tuesdays.  Firstly, it's a great opportunity for you to do some market research to see what styles brides and grooms prefer.  For example, you can use our polls to see whether white gold or platinum is more popular, if you're a jeweller, or whether couples prefer natural makeup to bold looks, if you're a makeup artist.

We pass all insights and poll results onto our suppliers so that you can use these valuable insights to assist with your own future marketing efforts.  It's also an excellent way to boost your exposure and reach, as prospective customers can see a wide range of what you have to offer them, without doing any of the work.

Next Steps

We run This or That Tuesdays every Tuesday afternoon. For Spotlight and Featured advertisers, we don’t charge a fee; it’s simply part of the service we offer and will link to your Guides for Brides listing.
