The couple chose to marry at the glamorous Braxted Park after going for a viewing in winter. It was the only venue they saw, and it was enough! "It had everything that we were looking for and more; the grounds are simply stunning and we couldn’t have wished for anything extra," says Jenny. The ceremony was held in the gorgeous Orangery in the main house, overlooking the gardens, so the wedding had all of the beauty of the outdoors without the bride and groom having to worry about the weather.Â
Jenny and Jack chose a modern colour scheme of purple, gold and lilac. "Purple is my favourite colour and gold worked well with our overall theme, helping to bring an element of glamour to the decoration," Jenny says.
"When we returned to the venue the following summer we discovered that lots of Braxted Park’s own flowers in the grounds were purple too - a perfect match!"Â
The flowers were created by Claire and her team at Luke and Lottie Floral design, and included pale pink roses, foliage and ferns, and purple hydrangea and lilacs. The amazing stationery matched the flowers perfectly, and was made by Georgie at Pretty Lane Weddings.Â
