The Proposal
The couple met during lockdown while working together at their previous jobs, and after two and a half years together, Mitch decided it was time to take the next big step. In October 2022, while on holiday with their best friends in Mexico, Mitch planned a proposal that Louise would never forget.
During a scenic horse riding trip, the group arrived at the foot of a waterfall. Seeing his opportunity amongst such memorable surroundings, Mitch got down on one knee and asked Louise to marry him. Unknown to Louise, her best friend was in on the secret and had been eagerly awaiting the proposal throughout the trip, but even they didn't know exactly when it would happen. Mitch carried the ring with him, waiting for the perfect moment to make his heartfelt proposal.

The Fashion
The Bride and Groom's Outfits
Louise looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Dolly's Bridal Boutique in Shefford. The beautiful ball gown silhouette created a dramatic and elegant look, with Louise opting for an off-the-shoulder design and a plunging neckline. Her outfit was completed by a flowing veil and a charming silver necklace. The dress fit the wedding theme seamlessly, complementing the white blossom trees and eucalyptus plants to create a charming green and white aesthetic.
Meanwhile, Mitch looked very dapper in a three-piece burgundy suit that added a pop of colour to the occasion. Adorned with sleek black detailing and a silver tie clip, he truly looked the part, with a large green boutonnière tying everything together and complementing the colour scheme.
The Wedding Party
Continuing the wedding theme, the bridesmaids looked wonderful in off-the-shoulder dresses in a shade of deep blue, while the maid of honour wore the same style in bright burgundy. Coordinating well with them was the groomsman and best man, matching Mitch in three-piece burgundy suits. With fashion that blended seamlessly, the wedding party created a flawless look.
Personal Touches
Determined to keep the memory of their loved ones close, they had a special memory table featuring sentimental touches. Louise had a digital print made onto a big canvas, depicting the couple in their wedding outfits with Louise's brother and Mitch's grandma by their side. This touching tribute set the tone for a wedding that would be filled with love and celebration.
Louise and Mitch both had the most amazing time at their wedding, describing it as the best day of their lives. The couple made sure to stay close to each other as much as possible during the festivities, feeling it was important to experience their wedding day side by side.
