Andrew was working abroad when he flew Clare out to Dubai for the weekend. His mum asked Clare to take over a parcel for him, little did she know that her engagement ring was inside!
Clare wanted to get married outdoors and loved the sentiment of the hand fasting ceremony. They chose their venue, Plusterwine Farm because it was not only local to them, but boasts breathtaking views of the River Severn and the Costswolds. Unfortunately however, Clare and Andrew and their guests couldn't really appreciate their surroundings because it poured with rain all day long! The rain didn't get them down though, and their photographer, Antony Ball Photography got some amazing shots of the dramatic dark sky.Â
The couple had a festival theme for their day with sunflowers (Clare's favourite flower) and hay bales to give it a rustic feel. Clare will always remember pulling up in the camper van... The wind was howling, the rain was torrential and yet there were 150 of their friends braving the elements in plastic ponchos waiting to celebrate their beautiful wedding day.Â
