After meeting at a Twickenham pub in 2008 on a rugby day 7 years ago, Adam proposed to Sanchia while on holiday in Iceland. The couple were walking in the snowy Thingvellir National Park when Adam stopped and unexpectedly popped the question. There was no ring and it wasn’t planned; Adam claimed that there was something in the Icelandic air that night - how romantic!
The couple wed 2 years later in October 2015 at the stunning Botleys Mansion in Surrey. Sanchia and her bridesmaids got ready in the gorgeous bridal suite of the mansion and the blushing bride wore a beautiful Mori Lee gown!
The theme of the wedding was navy, blush & eucalyptus green which decorated the grand hall and two adjoining rooms. The entertainment was a self-playing piano while a lovely mix of canapes and drinks were served to the newlyweds and their guests. It was really important to the couple to let family and friends mingle as they live all over the world and don’t get to see each other often.
Sanchia’s highlight was walking down the aisle with her dad, and the couple said saying their vows to each other was really special. The lovebirds then enjoyed a mini-moon in the Cotswolds, ate amazing food and drank delicious cocktails.
