Sarah and Gary tied the knot at Eynsham Hall in September 2018. The couple met at work and were together for four years before getting engaged and planning the wedding in the following 18 months. Find a beautiful mansion house wedding venue near you!
The Fashion
Sarah walked down the aisle in a stunning Mori Lee wedding dress, whilst her bridesmaids wore pink halter neck bridesmaids dresses. The pink dresses were complemented by the bouquets and venue decorations, which also incorporated a pastel pink. The groom and his groomsmen wore navy suits with tails that they hired for the occasion.
The Venue
Sarah and Gary fell in love with Eynsham Hall when researching online and were eager to visit the venue. Sarah was passionate about having a stately home style venue, and Eynsham Hall provided this as well as the relaxed vibe she was looking for. The venue was tailored to the couples theme colour of light pink - even though Gary originally said he didn’t mind what colour as long as it wasn’t pink!
The Food
During the drinks reception canapes were served before the sit-down meal. The guests enjoyed a crayfish starter, followed by lamb and lemon tart. In the evening, guests enjoyed a buffet as well as the wedding cake and a cheese tower - it sounds like there was no shortage of food at this wedding!
As if this delicious food throughout the day wasn’t enough… the favours were owl sugar cookies! Gary is an avid Sheffield Wednesday FC fan so they incorporated their badge into the wedding. Sarah ensured that these were pink to stay in keeping with the wedding theme.
The Music
Music played a significant role in Sarah and Gary’s celebration with live music during the ceremony, reception drinks and in the evening. During the ceremony a string trio played a mix of classical and modern music, they also played during the drinks reception. In the evening a local band played who got everyone on their feet!
