Welsh International, British & Irish Lions and Cardiff Blues rugby star, Liam Williams, tied the knot to his long term girlfriend and former model Sophie Harries on Saturday 30th of July. Over 120 friends and family were in attendance to help them celebrate their special day at the gorgeous exclusive use venue, Sant Ffraed House.

The couple first said their vows at St Mary’s Priory in Abergavenny. The glamorous reception was then held at the beautiful Sant Ffraed House by Oldwalls. This stunning venue is a picturesque Grade II listed country house, set within 14 acres of interrupted countryside from every window.
The house is based in the prestigious market town of Abergavenny, where the beauty of Wales is on show all around. This lovely setting is a new venue by award winning wedding specialists, The Oldwalls Collection.
What happened on the day?
The gorgeous couple arrived in style in an Aston Martin and guests were treated to a champagne reception. The lavish wedding breakfast that was hosted in the venue's purpose built 'K Room' allowed guests to feast on a five course wedding breakfast including a croquette of Welsh lamb, Welsh sirloin of beef and chocolate delice, whilst enjoying the picturesque countryside views from the panoramic windows.
What the couple said
Sophie: “It was the most special day of our lives to bring all of our family and friends together for the ultimate celebration was something else. The wedding coordinators at the venue and all the suppliers went above and beyond to deliver our vision and we couldn’t be more grateful.”
Liam: “Seeing Sophie for the first time as she walked down the aisle took my breath away.”
What the bride wore
Former model, Sophie, looked absolutely stunning in a Marquise Bridal gown by One1 Bridal. The style looks similar to that of Marquise Bridal's Harvey Dress and it appears that Sophie added an overskirt and then took it off for the reception to have two looks! The mermaid dress features long, off-the-shoulder sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and sparkle all over.
