Do I need an appointment?
We recommend booking an appointment just so we can ensure that you have a fully private experience and that we have a fitting room available for you. We like to give you our full undivided attention and if we have another customer in, we are unable to provide this.
How long do appointments take?
We usually advise you to select 3 or 4 dresses which you’d like to try, and then throughout the appointment, we will get a feel of what you are/not liking and we can pull some more out for you! Sometimes the ones we pull out are not what you’d go for but are often the ones brides go for! Have faith in us. Your appointment will last for around 1 hour 15 mins.
Do you charge for appointments?
As with all luxury Bridal Boutiques, we charge a consultation fee. Weekend appointments are £25 and weekday appointments are £20. All charges are refundable against your dress purchase. Remember this includes the exclusive attention of one of our award-winning and experienced Bridal Stylists.
When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
Recent events have taught us that it is never too early to start looking for your wedding dress, but ideally we would suggest starting your search 18 months before your wedding. Of course sometimes timelines are just out of your control - and that is why we have an incredible selection of Off the Peg sample sale dresses in a wide variety of sizing, ready to take away on the day in our Outlet.
What sizes do you stock?
We currently stock dresses ranging from size 8 – 28. These can be altered by one of our seamstresses and can usually go up/down by up to 2 sizes. As our sample collection constantly varies, the sizes that we stock will vary over time. Bridal sizes tend to be on the small side so don’t be put off if you have to go up a size.
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
Our experience is that small groups of trusted family and friends are best when it comes to your dress search. At this time we are able to welcome two guests along with you - and we would encourage you to choose the most trusted and supportive from your circle. But the Bride Tribe need not be left out - speak to us in advance of your appointment about how we can virtually include more people.
Can I take photos of my chosen dress?
We kindly asked you not to take any photos as we do not allow photography when you are trying on dresses. This is to protect the copyright of the Designer’s work. Also, lighting and bad angles often distort the gown, therefore, giving a false impression.

We are pleased to be able to offer our dressmaking service to Brides/Bridesmaids/Mother of the Bride who has purchased their gowns/dresses/outfits from another establishment.
What happens with my fittings?
We offer an experienced and in-house alterations service to make your gown fit to perfection, and can offer a storage for your dress alongside this service. Our dedicated dressmaking department situated above our showroom offers appointments 6 days a week including evenings and Saturdays - perfect for the busy Bride.
If you wish to have your fittings with us your first fitting will normally be 8-10 weeks before your wedding, although we will arrange this when your dress arrives with us. If your wedding is imminent then please don’t worry - we will begin your fittings as soon as possible.
You will generally only need two fittings alongside a check fit, and the cost of your alterations will be discussed with you at your appointment and are invoiced before your check fit. Please don’t forget to bring your shoes and any relevant underwear with you to all of your fittings.
Will I be the only Bride in the showroom?
At this time we are only welcoming one Bride at a time into the showroom - so of course we are finding our appointments are booking up quite quickly.
Our showroom is also very discreet, and you can not be seen from the street to ensure your privacy.
If you would like to ensure you are the only Bride in the shop then do consider visiting on a Sunday, when we offer exclusive appointments.
Covid-19 precautions ?
We are constantly updating our procedures in line with Government guidance.
* We will take temperatures on arrival and record details for track and trace.
* We will provide handwashing facilities, sanitiser and gloves.
* We ask all visitors to wear masks, as we will be doing. If a Bride wishes to remove her mask momentarily for her ‘YES’ moment we will step away to allow you to do so.
How do you decide what size to order?
Every Designer works to a different size guide. At your appointment we will take your measurements and use these against the size guide to order the best sizing for you. Remember - dresses are made to order not made to fit so do allow for alterations. We are happy to talk with you about sizing if you wish. If you are planning to lose weight then if timing allows we do offer a re-measuring service 6 months before your wedding date. There is a small fee of £10 to cover the appointment time and administration for this service, but we have found many Brides appreciate the opportunity to amend their sizing.
