About Dorset Dubhire
Dorset Dubhire offer our stunning classic chauffeur driven VW campers, Lulu, Lillie and Lucy and our classic Beetles Lilah and Libby as wedding transport for your special day. We offer a full chauffeur driven service for the happy couple and their parties, ensuring plenty of fantastic photo opportunities. Vehicles come dressed in ribbons and flower garlands to fit in with your wedding colour theme.
Travel in VW style on your special day! Our chauffeur driven classic VW wedding transport service is perfect for the happy couple, bridesmaids or groomsmen and family members.
Packages include ribbons in your colour choice, faux flower garlands, vintage style bunting and 'just married sign' and plenty of time for photos.
Vehicles:
Lulu-1960 split screen wedding campervan, painted in powder blue over ivory with bespoke oak interior/oyster upholstery (seats 5-6 passengers)
Lillie-1972 bay window wedding campervan, painted in VW pastel white with bespoke oak interior and popular L shaped seating configuration/pale cream upholstery (seats 6 passengers with one in the front)
Lucy- 1974 baywindow wedding campervan, painted in powder blue over ivory with bespoke oak interior/pale cream upholstery (seats 6 passengers)
Lilah-1965 Beetle painted in VW bahama blue (pale green) with high quality Bernard Newbury interior (seats 3 passengers or 2 passengers if we remove the front seat to allow more dress/leg space). Featured in Volksworld magazine and multi show winner.
Libby-1974 Karmann cabriolet Beetle, painted in Old English White with original herringbone upholstery. Roof comes down or goes up in seconds, offering great opportunities for photos. (Seats 3 passengers, or as with Lilah we can take the front seat out).
All vehicles are maintained by professional VW specialist mechanics to ensure reliability and safety (and annual MOTs are undertaken despite vehicles being exempt due to age)
We hold full hire and reward insurance and PLI/ELI.

Yes, absolutely! We also offer viewings at our unit in Poole where couples can come and see the cars and try them out for size
If the distance is very close to the church or venue then yes, we can undertake multiple journeys. We always aim to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible, so are happy to advise on whether multiple journeys are likely to cause possible issues on the day.
We decorate the wedding vehicles for you but you have a choice of ribbon colour and a choice from our faux flower garlands. We also have bunting for the vehicles, cushions and a just married sign. If you have anything personal you'd like to add to the vehicle such as your own bunting or flowers we're very happy to help with this.
Chauffeurs all wear smart suit and tie to drive weddings. If you'd rather they dress down that's no problem!
We're not licensed to provide alcohol however you're welcome to bring your own and we can provide glasses and a hamper and our drivers are very happy to serve this for you.
Our Beetles start at £340.00 for a wedding where the ceremony and reception are at one venue, locally. Our campervans start at £360.00 where a ceremony and reception are at one venue, locally. We charge slightly more for a two venue wedding and mileage over 40 round miles from and back to our base in Poole is charged at £1.00 per mile.
