Gourmet Foods Ltd has been serving up creative menus and delicious food for weddings in the Midlands for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on our personal approach to every event. We have helped hundreds of couples, and their guests enjoy their perfect wedding meal, they in turn have helped us build a reputation and heritage we are enormously proud of.
Our clients come first so no matter what their budget, the venue they have chosen or the numbers attending, we ensure that the wedding menu, delivery and service is everything the happy couple have wished for.
We understand the diverse dietary preferences and needs of our clients and their guests. Our extensive vegetarian and vegan catering options reflect our commitment to providing exceptional culinary experiences for everyone, regardless of any dietary choices.
The team at Gourmet consist of an experienced group of professionals who enjoy sharing and passing on their knowledge both to their peers and the junior members who work alongside them. We are lucky enough to have team members whose heritage hails from across the globe, giving us a rich understanding of cultural preferences and passion for international cuisines.
Leadership and clear communication are key, and Gourmet is extremely fortunate to have not one but two, formidable leaders in Fenella and Laura providing a strength and depth that produces a well-motivated, cohesive team focused on giving their best.

We endeavour to keep sustainability at the forefront of our minds in all the activities we undertake. It is all about having a healthy and thriving business without compromising on our next generation’s enjoyment of the natural resources around us. We are heavily invested in looking after the precious resources we have and ensuring that wastage is keep to a minimum whilst we meet the customer’s needs. Incorporating sustainability into our core values helps us lead better lives, be a good neighbour, develop talent and be a valued employer. It does good things for the planet, society, people, family, and business. We ensure all staff are aware and informed on how they can play their part in implementing these values which ultimately leads to a safer and more enhanced experience. All our main suppliers are based locally and most of our food comes straight from Birmingham Wholesale market. We have suppliers for oils, cheeses, and continental meats within a 10-mile radius of our premises and aim to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum. Some steps that we have taken: • We have signed up with the fabulous ‘too good to go’ app and regularly supply the local community with our goodie bags. • Purchase and use of an electric operated van • Optimising energy and water efficiency, eliminating or minimising pollution • Regular Refrigeration maintenance by specialist engineers • Lighting changed to low consumption LED • Herb garden on premises • Cooking oil filtration system – elongating life • Cooking oil collection and recycling service used • Food waste recycling service used
