About Everlong Ceremonies
Everlong Ceremonies is led by Jodie Watt, an independent wedding celebrant based in Hampshire who crafts fabulous, personal ceremonies for couples who love the outdoors, laughter, and doing things entirely their own way. For couples whose idea of a dream wedding involves windswept beaches, woodland clearings, vineyards at sunset, castle ruins, relaxed garden gatherings, or somewhere wonderfully “very them,” Jodie is an ideal fit.
Known for weaving in meaningful symbolic elements, from handfasting rituals and sand-blending to unity candles or even a cheeky unity shot, she brings each couple’s unique celebration to life. Whether helping write vows from scratch, hunting down the perfect readings, or incorporating favourite song lyrics, Jodie works closely with couples to do something extraordinary and genuinely fun.
Her Style: An Atmospheric Architect
Jodie doesn't just read a script; she builds an experience:
🤍 Earthy & Authentic: She prioritises real emotions, heartfelt storytelling, and genuine laughter over stiff or theatrical performances.
🤍 Weather-Resilient: She brings a true “muddy boots” spirit (even if they’re glittery ones!). If it rains, she makes it cosy; if it’s sunny, she makes it wild.
🤍 A ‘Plan B’ Powerhouse: She ensures the outdoor soul of the day stays alive, whatever the British weather decides to do.
🤍 Guest-Centric: While the couple is the heartbeat of the moment, the vibe is shared with everyone present. Jodie’s goal is always the "best wedding ever" accolade from family and friends.
In addition to bespoke outdoor weddings, Jodie crafts elopements, vow renewals, naming days, and milestone celebrations. Based in Denmead, she regularly works across Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Chichester, the New Forest, and throughout Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, and West Sussex.

FAQs
If you want a quick, formal, legal wedding, a 15-minute registrar ceremony at a licensed venue is suitable. For a personal, memorable ceremony, a celebrant is ideal. To make vows legally binding, visit a registry office unless you choose an optional commitment ceremony. More in-depth info here: everlongceremonies.uk/helpful/celebrant-vs-registrar-cost-hampshire

Absolutely! That's what I do best.
It's your day, so we design your ceremony and vows exactly as you want them. I also offer help with vow writing, should you need it. Read my 'Guide to a Celebrant-led Ceremony' here: everlongceremonies.uk/your-guide-to-a-celebrant-led-ceremony
Nope. Nothing HAS to be included with a celebrant-led ceremony; that's the beauty of it: total freedom.
Absolutely! Love is Love.
I do; the wonderful joy I have as a celebrant is creating interfaith ceremonies for couples in love, no matter their faith.
For sure. I'll be your best buddy by the time I marry you! Read more about the process here: everlongceremonies.uk/the-process
Whatever works for you. As long as your date is free in my diary, let's book it. (But if it's super last-minute, you'll need to be free to spend time with me so I can write your ceremony to match your personalities.)
Alas, not yet. Celebrants in the UK do not hold the license, hence why we suggest popping to the registry office for a 2+2 appointment to sign the legal papers.
