Whether you’re organising an intimate gathering or a joyful celebration with all your favourite people, I’ll work closely with you to shape a ceremony that feels authentic, relaxed, and truly yours. Terms and conditions
- Eligibility — The 10% Late Availability discount applies only to remaining 2026 ceremony dates booked through Guides for Brides. - Booking Confirmation — A booking is confirmed once the contract is signed and the non‑refundable booking fee is paid. - Payments — The final balance is due 14 days before the ceremony unless otherwise agreed in writing. - Travel — The offer covers ceremonies within Hampshire and nearby areas; additional travel fees may apply beyond this region. - Changes — Date changes depend on availability. If the new date is unavailable, the booking fee remains non‑refundable. - Cancellations — If the couple cancels, all payments made are non‑refundable. If I must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded in full. - Ceremony Content — All scripts and materials remain my intellectual property. Couples receive a personalised copy for personal use. - Professional Standards — I may withdraw services if behaviour, venue conditions, or circumstances compromise safety, legality, or professional integrity. - Inclusivity — All couples are welcomed equally. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the booking. Force Majeure — Events outside reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, illness, emergencies) may affect delivery. Alternative solutions will be offered wherever possible.

A registrar conducts a legal marriage ceremony with set words and little flexibility. A celebrant-led ceremony, however, is completely personal and written just for you — full of your story, personality and values. You can include readings, music, rituals or humour, and hold it anywhere you choose, making it truly your day, your way. (The legal paperwork is completed separately at your local registry office.)
An independent celebrant offers full freedom of choice — your ceremony can include religious, spiritual or symbolic elements, or none at all. A humanist ceremony is always non-religious. As an independent celebrant, I tailor everything to you, blending beliefs, traditions and creativity however you wish.
