Our Sustainability Commitments
As a celebrant, my work is naturally low-impact, but I still try to make thoughtful choices wherever I can. I use digital paperwork and planning documents where possible, offer online meetings when helpful, and keep printed materials to a minimum unless they are wanted for the ceremony. I’m also a vegan-friendly celebrant and always happy to support couples planning a lower-waste, plant-based, ethical or earth-conscious wedding. Where ritual elements are included, such as candles, flowers, herbs, crystals, ribbons or natural materials, I encourage choices that feel meaningful, respectful and considered, rather than wasteful or decorative for the sake of it. My approach is about creating ceremony with care: for the couple, the people gathered, the traditions we draw from, and the earth we stand on.

This part of my work matters deeply to me. As someone with lived connection to LGBTQIA+ love and community, I do not see inclusion as an added extra. It is woven into the way I understand ceremony: who gets to be honoured, who gets to be named properly, who gets to stand in front of their people and be fully celebrated. Your wedding is not a place for assumptions. It is not a place where you should have to explain the shape of your love, soften your language, or fit yourselves into someone else’s idea of what a ceremony should be. I will take care with your names, pronouns, identities, families, chosen families, histories, spiritual beliefs and the words that feel right for you. We will create a ceremony that holds the truth of who you are, not a polished version made for other people’s comfort. Whether your wedding is tender, sacred, joyful, witchy, emotional, riotous, quiet, queer, spiritual, unconventional or beautifully simple, you will be met with warmth, respect and celebration.
