FAQs
I charge a flat fee which includes all our meetings, my time to write your bespoke ceremony, a full rehearsal in advance of your ceremony and, of course, my time on the day of your celebration. For bookings made in 2025, this is £800.00 If this is a barrier for you, please do talk to me about it.
Ideally 6 months, but shorter if need be
Not yet (although Humanists UK are working on it!). In 2025/26, couples will have to book a civil ceremony at their local registry office for their marriage to be legally recognised. This varies from council to council.
A humanist wedding ceremony is a meaningful, non-religious & fully inclusive ceremony. You can write your own vows & promises, choose your favourite music & include symbolic actions.
Our Sustainability Commitments
Weddings can be wasteful but they needn't be! I want to contribute to couples who want to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum for their special day. Irun my business as sustainably as possible. I drive an EV to appointments and only use paper for certificates and final ceremony printing. My providerr only buys from sustainable energy sources. I'm happy to lend accessories to my couples, such as unity candles, candle holders, a pewter quaich and handfasting ribbons and chords if required.
