My price is inclusive and includes travel and all meetings and rewrites until you are 100% happy. Over 80 miles, we negotiate! If you wish me to sing you down the aisle, please note this will take the fee to the maximum cost of £1,500
About Janet Shell Ceremonies
Hi! I’m Janet and I am happy to go where the wedding is! Typically, I work right across the South East of England, so just ask. Your ceremony is the heart of the day and I am invested in making that work perfectly for you and your guests through listening to what you hope for and suggesting ideas to bring your story to life. LGBTQ+ friendly, I have also delivered several interfaith ceremonies where we honour the tradtions of each faith, bringing families together.
An elite level speaker and communicator, my calm and unflustered voice is often commented upon during weddings. I can soothe nerves and bring the necessary skills to adapt to all situations, honed over many years as a professional singer, creating an intimate, cosy and atmosphere. A Celebrant led ceremony is completely bespoke to you; can include your friends and family and last as long as you like and take place literally anywhere you choose
With a Celebrant ceremony you may choose to have something spiritual or even a recosgnised religious text. Humanism has no spiritual elements

Absolutely - but better still - you can collaborate with me if you wish! You have control over it from day 1
Definitely a good idea to book in advance but I can create you a beautiful ceremony in as short a timeframe as 7 days, provided you are good communicators so we can chat!
You are paying me to write the bulk of your ceremony, but I welcome your input at any time and I always encourage my couples to write their own vows- then I keep them safe until the day so you hear them spontaneously
As it is not yet a legal service - no, but as the ring exchange & vows are not legalities either, they can be saved for your celebrant ceremony
yes of course!
I do, but always require more input from the couple so I do not appear to be appropriating any aspect
I do ask to meet online initially. Happy to meet in person later if we are close enough but it is usually less necessary
Celebrants as yet, cannot perform legally binding marriages

I use zoom and email to communicate with my couples which seems to work well and I email the ceremony to you following the day so you have a keepsake.
