In the UK, while a registrar is responsible for the legal aspect of marriage, a celebrant like me offers something much more personal and unique. As a celebrant, I work closely with you to craft a ceremony that truly reflects your story, values, and personalities. You're not limited to standard scripts or licensed venues; instead, you can marry wherever and however you want—whether it's in a beautiful outdoor setting, at a meaningful location, or with customised vows.

We will collaborate, by having an initial meeting to discuss your needs and I will then write a draft script which we will tweak until you’re happy with it.
Absolutely! That is the joy of having a celebrant, you can also marry wherever you want too.

Not yet, Humanist wedding are currently legal in Scotland but we are working on changing that for the rest of the UK. It is currently approx £70 to book a registrar in the Midlands.
