About Dorothy Harpist

For over a decade, Dorothy's greatest passion has been working with couples to create memories that will last a lifetime through her bespoke wedding harp performances. Having worked with renowned names like Netflix and Rolex to name just a few, her versatility makes her the ideal choice for a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. She has also held residencies at the Capital Hotel London, the University Arms Hotel Cambridge and the Shangri-la Hotel.

As an intuitive and sensitive person, she loves to collaborate with couples to curate bespoke wedding playlists that share their authentic story. Nothing makes her heart flutter quite like the moment her music accompanies a bride walking down the aisle.

Dorothy boasts a diverse repertoire encompassing popular TV and film scores, musicals, classical and contemporary pieces. She can perform in a variety of music styles, with genres including classical, folk, popular songs, Bollywood, Irish music etc.

She has been awarded the Encore "Top Ten Booked Musician" and "Hitched Wedding Award" in 2023 and 2024 respectively. She is also a recommended musician at the Fitzrovia Chapel London and the Great Barn Harrow.

Specialising in harp performance, Dorothy earned her music degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic, as well as her Associate (ATCL) and Licentiate (LTCL) from Trinity College London.
