For couples and or bridal parties throughout London, Greater London, Surrey, Berkshire & Kent. Last-minute lessons to structured dance courses, these friendly professional dance instructors provide for all of your dance needs from a location that is the most convenient to you to fit in with your busy schedule. Making you feel confident on the dance floor in no time!
The Next Step Co. provide their dance lessons from the comfort of your own home, or at a studio space near you for your convenience. This allows you to learn in the a comfortable environment so you to get the most out of your lessons and gain the confidence you need for your big day.
These dance professionals are proficient in a wide range of dance styles, but cater to each different couple they work with. Adapting to their skill level and helping create the vision of their first dance they have in mind. Whether that be just a slow romantic natural first dance, where no one will even know you had practiced, or a show stopping number that will wow all your guests and be the talking point for the rest of the night!
They can also choreograph a dance routine for your whole wedding party, Father daughter dance or Mother Son Dance or any other combination.

We travel far and wide! Any where from Central London to any bough in Greater London and all of Surrey are very accessible. All locations within the M25 are free of travel fees. We are happy to travel to you outside of the M25 but fees may apply. We also have teachers in County Durham and Sheffield.
No, If your not planning on doing a big show stopping number then we don't need very much space at all. Most couples I teach just move their coffee table (or some other piece of furniture) to the side and that gives us enough space to dance in. If you don't feel like your place is suitable, then no problem at all, we will locate a studio in your local area to make things nice and convenient for you.
You can have a simple taster session with one of our casual lesson that start from £60. A popular package if you need a last minute lesson because your wedding is in a few weeks is out One and Only package which is £110. We are happy to make bespoke package for couples who dont feel like any of out package suit their needs.
We do get very booked up in the summer months. If you have a summer wedding I would book at least a few months in advance. There's always a chance you can get a lesson last minute, but the timing of the lessons may not be anywhere as flexible as if you booked 6 months in advance!
I would LOVE to be invited to your wedding! But I dont need to be. all of our hard work will be done way before that. If you change your mind I would LOVE to be a night guest to get some happy snaps of your amazing first dance!

The Couple enquire with details of how they would like their first dance to look. I advise them on how many lessons they may need to get the desired dance they were after. We book in the dates for our lessons, making sure they are not too far apart but also not too close to the wedding. Then its time to dance! The first lesson I will teach the basics of how to hold each other and mover around the dance floor together, then it will be time to put some moves along to their chosen song, that may take anywhere from 2-4 lessons, then a lesson or two to perfect it! Leaving them feeling super confident with the dance they have for their special day.
The best personal touch is the song that you choose. The song that you choose for your first dance shouldn't be a soppy romantic love song just because that's what you think is called for. It's a song that is meaningful to you both! No matter what style or genre that my be! If heavy metal is the thing that brought you together then heavy metal it will be! ;P
Not to just SWAY for 3 minutes straight!!! There is nothing more awkward then watching a couple stand there in the middle of an empty dance floor and them to just sway for a whole song! Doing anything else then just standing there will be entertaining for your guests. Then it's up to you how impressed you want them to be. If you want some WOW moments you can always Waltz around the dance floor and even throw in a Lift, and always finish with a dip and a kiss! That's always a crowd pleaser!
