About Glen Clova Hotel
Nestled in the Angus Glens, Glen Clova Hotel offers a magical Scottish wedding venue for your special day. Exchange vows amidst breathtaking scenery, choosing from a charming nearby kirk, a marquee, or a loch side ceremony. Celebrate with up to 170 guests in their brand new wedding barn opening Spring 2025, featuring stunning views and all the trimmings for an unforgettable celebration. They also cater to intimate weddings, offering unique options like a champagne picnic amongst the hills.
At the southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park, at the foot of Glen Doll, amid stunning scenery, you'll find the Glen Clova Hotel, a family run establishment since 1850.
The hotel has 18 elegant bedrooms between our hotel and nearby steading building (a short 30 seconds walk from our main building). We have 9 luxury lodges, each with their own private hot tub which sleep anything from 2 in our Hideaway lodges up to 6 in our Glen lodges. Finally we have two family houses - a 2 bedroom and a 5 bedroom house again with hot tubs. Our steading rooms, houses and many of our lodges are dog friendly. In total we can accommodate up to 88 guests.
Next to our hotel, a mere 100m away is the beautiful non-denominational Clova Kirk (Scottish church) which you can choose to get married in, alternatively you can get married in the surrounding hills. We also have a marquee adjacent to the hotel where you can get married. We have a beautiful function room for your choice of wedding meal and our staff will look after you well as you dance into the night celebrating with family and friends.
From spring 2025, a new wedding barn will open at Glen Clova, promising charm and versatility for couples seeking to exchange vows admist the scenic Angus Glens. With it’s bi-fold glass doors, the venue offers enchanting views of rolling hills, creating a picturesque backdrop for romantic celebrations.
Situated in the heart of the Angus Glens, yet only approx 1.5 hours from Edinburgh, choosing Glen Clova for your wedding will give you a truly authentic Scottish wedding. As well as offering a fantastic location we can also provide you with details of local wedding specialists - cakes, flowers, photographers, hair & make up, etc... so that your day is exactly how you dreamt it would be. Our wedding co-ordinator would be de
