About Alfriston Gardens
Alfriston Gardens is a sensational two-acre estate where you can host your civil ceremony and reception in the Century and Woodland Barns. This historical destination combines traditional elements with modern comforts, presenting a refined and relaxed setting in which to mark your story. Offering more than just memories, the recently renovated venue is home to unique gardens, beautiful guest accommodation and mouth-watering catering.
The Venue
The Woodland and Century Barns event spaces can host between from 60 to 155 guests, depending on your desired setup and floor plan. Oak Lodge is suitable for more intimate wedding receptions and doubles as a sociable reception area. Alfriston Gardens' stunning grounds provide a beautiful botanical backdrop for pictures following your ceremony, with indoor options should the British weather prevail.

Black Pepper Catering Hospitality manages all your food and beverage requirements at Alfriston Gardens, ensuring you are in capable and experienced hands when it comes to menu selections and more. Our team oversee the smooth running of your reception service, so guests will feel the warm hospitality this venue has to offer. Accommodation
Lavender Lodge is a serene and tranquil getaway where you can enjoy your preparations for your big day. This standalone cottage provides privacy and a relaxed setting for restorative overnight stays. Nine en-suite shepherd huts offer your guests an authentic glamping experience, perfectly blending outdoor adventures with luxurious comforts. Plus ten beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms in the Vine Hotel. Breakfast is served in Oak Lodge, a multi-functional space where friends and family can stay in the five bedrooms upstairs and gather to reflect on the celebrations.
