About Battersea Park Wedding

Battersea Park Weddings offers couples a selection of licensed venues set within Battersea Park, one of London’s large historic green spaces opposite the River Thames. The experience starts with the Victorian Bandstand, positioned centrally in the park and framed by 360-degree views of mature trees.

This outdoor structure is used for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships or civil marriages, with wooden chairs available to hire and scope to decorate the space to suit your day. A short walk from the Bandstand is the Bowling Green Pavilion & Lawn, a flexible open space in the heart of the park with views towards the iconic Battersea Power Station. The pavilion and adjacent lawns can be adapted for receptions, drinks or meals, and allow for additional outdoor structures such as marquees or BBQ setups.

Behind the boating lake sits the Pump House Gallery, a Grade II listed building with a flagstone terrace and multiple internal levels including a mezzanine. Natural light fills the space, and it can be used for ceremonies, drinks, receptions and seated dinners. Its terrace overlooks the park and can also host events with or without an outdoor structure.

All spaces operate on a dry-hire basis. Couples can use their own suppliers for catering, décor and entertainment without corkage fees, and there are options for both intimate ceremonies and larger receptions with a maximum guest capacity of 250 people across the chosen spaces.
