This incredible styled shoot at Bradbourne House in KentĀ brings together traditional luxury glamour with a modern twist. Love metallic touches, personalised details, balloon arches and blossom trees? You'll love this styled shoot! We spoke to wedding planner and stylist Sam from Flutterbee Me Events and hair stylist Sinead from Sinsational Lox to find out how they pulled the shoot together...
\nCreating the styled shoot
The shoot was hosted at the gorgeous Bradbourne House, a grade 1 listed building set in 20 acres of parkland in the Kent countryside. The amazing rooms and outdoor space made the perfect backdrop for this feature. With a fabulous team on board we aimed for a wow-factor shoot, but we didnāt want to forget the intimate details that add layers to the day.Ā
We choose a modern colour palette of blush pink, navy blue, white and touches of burgundy. This was combined into the floral arrangements to give a softer, romantic feel. The aim was to feature modern elements seamlessly paired with a traditional wedding set-up, to highlight the wonderful choices our couples have to choose from.
We wanted to showcase this gorgeous bridal dress from designer Stella York with its stunning lace detail which we paired with a diamantƩ belt. The elegant lines of the fit and flare gown combined with the lace detailing and stunning earrings ensured our bride would certainly make an entrance.
Ā āFor our beautiful bride model, I wanted to create a style that set off the romantic, glam look," says Sinead. "I transformed her hair from a chin length bob into a low bun with curls and twists. I created this using clip in extensions to create the bun and bring height to the crown, curling and pinning the hair into shape. From the photos you would never have known she had a bob!āĀ
But how can we forget the groom? His outfit was chosen to show timeless tailoring, a traditional pocket watch and an up-to-date blue velvet jacket.Ā Ā
Ā
Naturally all the other elements focused around this feel, with soft but striking hair, makeup and jewellery for our couple. From personalised napkins and stunning stationery through to the beautiful phalaenopsis orchids and hydrangea centerpieces, the details were extremely important.
Adding extra luxury to the shoot we created not one, but three breathtaking cakes, and a statement ceremony backdrop made up of balloons and flowers.Ā
"I wanted to bring a wow factor and something unique to the shoot," says Sam. "I designed a blossom tree aisle with a hexagon statement piece ceremony backdrop made up of flowers and balloons. This added the pop of colour to a traditional setting."
