About Danesfield
Steeped in hundreds of years of history, Danefield House has a beautiful character that is perfect for a magical wedding day. The house has been rebuilt several times since the original building was constructed in 1664 and has served many purposes, most notably as a RAF base from 1941-1977. The secluded grounds are teeming with wildlife and local Muntjac and Fallow deer are the perfect gardeners to keep the hedges trim.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces
At Danesfield House there are lots of options for where you are able to host your nuptials. The different rooms are all different sizes so you can have a grander or more intimate feel depending on the atmosphere and guest numbers you would like. This venue can be exclusively yours for your magical day to make it extra special!
The largest room is the Versailles Suite. This pretty pink room was designed with the namesake the Palace of Versailles in mind with large, gold mirrors, high ceilings and sparkling chandeliers. This room is the perfect room to share with up to 120 guests and has a romantic and elegant atmosphere which photographs beautifully. The large double doors and long aisle will create a dramatic entrance into your new chapter of life.
The Chiltern Suite is a smaller yet equally charming room with glorious views over the gardens and River Thames. This rooms has similar pink hues as the Versailles Suite and has some equally impressive crystal chandeliers. The Chiltern Suite is an excellent place to marry among 50 of your nearest and dearest.
The Oak Room is a beautiful room with intricately hand-carved oak panelling that has a gorgeous muted tone so the space still feels light and spacious. The oak fireplace is a focal point in the room and would be the perfect backdrop for your vows and as you can see in the image above it looks lovely with a few flowers to decorate the mantlepiece. This room is perfect for up to 30 guests.
The Henley Room is also great for up to 30 guests as it is a beautiful, intimate venue. This delicately decorated room has a lovely feel to it, historic and elaborate yet cosy. This room has large bay windows which bathe the room in sunlight. This room is decorated similar to the Regency era drawing rooms that we are now acquainted to thanks to the hit Netflix show Bridgerton, with pastel blue and cream tones.
Outdoor Ceremonies are also permitted on the grounds of this property.
Rooms
A venue with accommodation is great for your wedding as it means you don't have to worry about finding transport after your celebrations, you can simply relax and extend the blissful just married feeling! At Danesfield House there are 55 individually styled bedrooms including some duplex rooms that are spread across two floors. For your wedding you will be required to book 12 rooms which are offered at a preferential Bed and Breakfast rate which is served buffet style in a private room. Guest will be able to check in from 3pm.
Food
The food at Danesfield House is divine! With plenty of choice, you and your guests are sure to love the delicious food on offer. In order to decide on your wedding menu, you and your partner are able to taste two of your favourite starters, mains and desserts along with a bottle of wine and any pre-advised dietary requirements will be catered for separately! The executive chef and his team celebrate seasonal British ingredients and turn local produce into dishes to completely tantalise your tastebuds.
