Sadly, this year hasn’t been quite the year we had all hoped for, especially for couples scheduled to get married. Cancelling or postponing a wedding is hard in normal circumstances but with COVID-19 restrictions in these unprecedented times added to the mix it has been extremely stressful for everyone. However, with a little more time to organise, hopefully your perfect wedding is just around the corner.
As well as the pressure of rearranging the wedding, organising a safe hen or stag do will also be a challenge, so for those of you having to rethink your stag and hen do plans, here are some hen and stag do ideas for 2021 from the experts at Fizzbox.com.

Sequel Micro Hen & Stag Do
Due to the Pandemic, we have seen a rise in the ‘Sequel Wedding’ - a wedding of multiple parts.
With Government rules now allowing couples to have smaller ‘micro’ ceremonies, many will opt for smaller multi-part celebrations, and this is likely to continue into next year. With this in mind, the hen party and stag do will also follow suit with various smaller celebrations. So rather than one big weekend, some will prefer to have a few smaller events.
Activities to consider are intimate group dinners, an outdoor activity and a virtual get together across different dates. A great opportunity to stretch out the fun and connect with the people that matter most.
Action & Adventure Activities
Everyone needs a little adrenaline in their life and activities like the Zipwire, Quad Biking and Bungee Jumping are all ideal activities to get the blood pumping on your hen or stag do next year.

Europe
With the travel restrictions and 14- day quarantines in place, many have missed out on travelling abroad this Summer. As the R Rate lowers and quarantines are lifted there will be a lot of people desperate to travel safely to Europe. Some vibrant places to head to on your hen or stag weekend are Croatia, Amsterdam, Ibiza or Lisbon.
Outdoors
This year we have all grown to love the outdoors and use the outdoor space safely and creatively. Why not use what you have learned during Lockdown and organise your own outdoor cinema or mini festival for your hen or stag do? Screen hire with movie and chairs is really affordable and a lot of fun. Or how about a hen or stag do picnic in the park or on the beach, another way to connect with those close to you and celebrate your forthcoming nuptials.

Water Sports
Trying a new skill on your hen or stag weekend is a great way to bring a group together and taking to the water whether you are a beginner or a novice is always great fun. In particular Paddle Boarding which combines surfing and kayaking. Here you’ll lay, sit or stand on a board on the water and will guarantee to have your group in hysterics as you try to balance. But just you wait- you will feel so impressed with yourselves by the end of the session when you manage to conquer it!

Staycation
Staying in the UK for our holidays is more popular than ever and for 2021 a number of couples will prefer to stay here for their hen and stag weekends. Hotspots like Bournemouth and Brighton will continue to take centre stage and offer a huge host of things to do and see.
