Want to get married in a luxury hotel? We visited Homewood Park Hotel and Spa to check out everything it has to offer and see why it's such a great place to get married. Located just 10 minutes outside Bath, this gorgeous venue is perfect for classic and timeless weddings and lends itself to exclusive use.
The Gardens
The 10 acres of award-winning gardens are filled with immaculate lawns and gorgeous trees. The restaurant, bar and patios all overlooking the lawn, making it perfect for garden games. Whether it is Segway football, pig racing, goose herding or an elegant game of croquet, your guest entertainment options here really are limited only by your imagination and budget.
Accommodation
There are 21 rooms to choose from, ranging from traditional rooms in the main house, to contemporary suites with full length windows and claw-footed baths in the walled garden area. If you're having lots of guests staying, the hotel works with companies that provide pretty tipis and Tinkerbell tents tucked away into the woodland areas for additional guests, charging just £50 per guest for them to have full hotel priviledges including breakfast and use of the spa.

Dining
Often praised as one of the finest restaurants in the Bath area, the dining options at this venue will not disappoint you. The award-winning restaurant serves high-quality food, which is famed for it's imagination and flair. The chefs take pride in creating individual dishes that are full of heart, and are also more than happy to accommodate guests with dietary requirements.

Spa
The spa at Homewood Park is a great reason to visit this venue. Fitted with a hydrotherapy pool that overlooks the walled gardens, a mood enhancing thermal suite, an outdoor heated swimming pool and two stunning treatment rooms, this peaceful spa is perfect for a quiet romantic getaway or for your guests to revive themselves.

Weddings
Whether you want a small, intimate wedding day with 50 guests, or an extravagant affair for 110 guests, Homewood Park Hotel and Spa can accommodate your requirements. You will have a choice of function rooms, ranging from the elegant Highgrove Room which overlooks the picturesque gardens, to the homely Shetland Room for a more intimate ceremony. When it comes to pricing, Monday to Thursday weddings cost around £3000 for exclusive use, to include all the bedrooms and use of the spa, but excluding food and drink, whereas a Saturday wedding in high-season will cost £8150.

What do we love?
The relaxed atmosphere! Weddings here truly feel like you are at your own country house. By the end of the evening guests are on first name terms with the team and are asleep in chairs in the drawing room with a brandy. When we spoke to Annabel - the hotel's wedding coordinator - her attitude was that absolutely anything is possible! Whether you want dogs on-site, a fireworks display, music until 1am, this venue is happy to be flexible so that you get your dream wedding.
