I believe that a wedding should be about celebration and togetherness and that it ought to remain as natural as possible without being turned into a 'photoshoot'. As such I try to think of myself as a professional 'observer'! It's not about jumping in and directing events but instead about capturing the essence of the day in as natural a manner as possible.

I photograph the entire day with a midnight finish as standard. You don't book me for a set number of hours, I simply cover the full story and you guys enjoy your party! Despite my focus on documentary coverage, most weddings include some relaxed portraits of the two of you and group shots with your immediate family and wedding party. Those elements are important also and I firmly believe in doing them justice. We build in short windows of time specifically for these photographs, produce something beautiful that reflects your personalities and then get you back to your guests sooner rather than later!
