About Monks' Barn
Medieval barn offers a unique venue for wedding receptions in Berkshire,corporate events & parties in Berkshire. Create a special day with your own caterer, florist & a photographer to capture the special moments that happen in this amazing venue. The Great Hall in the Barn can seat up to 120 people on long tables or 150 on round tables. It has beautiful flagstone flooring throughout. We also have plenty of space outdoors for a marquee reception for further wedding guests.
The Monks' Barn is a Grade II* listed medieval barn offering a unique venue for wedding receptions, civil ceremonies and parties.
The Barn is licensed for up to 150 guests for civil ceremonies and offers the perfect location to say your vows.
Its unique features offer you the opportunity to create a special day with your own caterer, florist & furnishings with no corkage charge.
The Great Hall can seat 150 people and has beautiful flagstone flooring throughout. Adjacent to the Great Hall is Monks' Bar and The Dance Hall which has ample room for a DJ Guests can be received on Monks’ Barn Lawn,which has plenty of room for a marquee.
There is secure overnight parking for your guests to leave their cars overnight if required.
Monks’ Barn is available to hire on Saturdays from May to September, with keys being available from the Wednesday before the event.
The Barn is open for viewing by appointment on Tuesdays between bookings or at other times when the barn is not in use.
We are able to provide a list of wedding service suppliers that have worked in the Barn before. Some have been highly recommended by previous clients.
This includes florists, caterers, decoration, marquees music and photographers.

A civil ceremony must be inside the footprint of the building however, this can be under the archway of the main doors with your guests sat outside
There are no additional costs
you can use any supplier you would like, but there is a list of suppliers available for companies previous customers have used
