Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
The house and grounds at Coombe Lodge are always exclusive to you and your guests. Over the last ten years we have earned an outstanding reputation for hosting all kinds of special events, particularly exclusive wedding ceremonies and receptions - something that we feel very passionate about.
Are you licensed for civil ceremonies?
Whether you have 50 or 160 guests, there is a great choice of locations in which to hold your civil ceremony, including the Billiard Room, the Music Room or outside in the courtyard under the charming Veranda.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?

Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
No food or drink may be brought onto the premises without prior permission. We are more than happy for you to supply your own wine here at Coombe Lodge, however a corkage fee will apply.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
The wedding party have access to the venue from 11.30am to begin preparations. Access to the venue for suppliers is from 10.30am on the day of the wedding. Alternatively, by prior arrangement, table plans, favours and other decorations can be left with us in the days leading up to the wedding.
Are fireworks allowed?
If you are thinking of having a display please contact your Event Manager as this may be possible via our recommended firework supplier. Displays must start no later than 9.30pm. Sparklers are to be used outside only.
Is confetti allowed?
Natural confetti such as rose petals can be thrown inside or on the lawns. We do not allow confetti canons at Coombe Lodge.
Is there accommodation on site?
We have 12 beautiful bedrooms within the house and our room rates are based on two guests sharing, and always a choice of breakfast. Included in the 12, there are 2 family rooms which sleep 4 and so naturally,these rooms come at a supplement. If you wish to make use of the bedrooms in the house, a minimum of 8 rooms must be booked, and for those that book all 12, a special rate will be applied. Is there additional accommodation nearby?
The Garden House is a Bed and Breakfast, conveniently situated in our own garden, just a two minute walk from our front door. This Bed and Breakfast is run separately from Coombe Lodge. For further information, please visit: www.thegardenhouserooms.co.uk
Are candles allowed?
White tea lights and candles in holders are allowed on the tables, window sills and mantelpieces. Please contact our office for advice if you wish to have coloured candles as these can mark table linen.
Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
There is indeed. Standing as one of the principal rooms in the house, this spacious room has a freestanding bath in one of the bay windows. From the relaxing seating area, there are outstanding views across the lawns, to the Bristol Channel in one direction, and Blagdon Lake in the other. The room has a modern bathroom, with double wet room shower, twin basins and underfloor heating.

If the weather's nice, you can make the most of the big balcony with amazing views, or you can use the cosy garden courtyard. The Music Room is a bright and spacious place with big windows that let in lots of light, it has a fantastic view towards the Bristol Channel. They also have extra rooms like the Billiard Room and Library that you can use for different things, like a play area for kids, a fun space, or a quiet spot.
