About Heaton House Farm

Heaton House Farm sits on the border of Cheshire and Staffordshire near Macclesfield in the English countryside, using a cluster of converted farm buildings and barns as event spaces. The venue spans extensive grounds and overlooks rural landscapes that stretch across three counties, with views from various areas of the site.

Couples can plan their day with multiple licensed ceremony locations, both indoors and outdoors. Options include ceremonies under an oak-beamed barn, beneath marquee pleats or outside by a timber pagoda on patio space. The venue is set up to flow from one part of the day to the next, with interconnected barns and garden areas used for drinks, dining and evening celebrations.

A purpose-built preparation room supports morning routines, and there are 15 on-site bedrooms for guests or the couple to stay overnight. The barns combine original rural elements such as sandstone walls and oak beams with practical features like built-in lighting, underfloor heating, AV systems and flexible layout space.

Heaton House Farm accommodates a wide range of wedding sizes. It can host intimate gatherings in The Old Stableyard for smaller parties, or larger celebrations with up to several hundred guests across its spaces. Throughout the day, outdoor patios, water gardens and expansive grounds provide varied areas for photographs and guest movement between ceremony, reception and evening stages.
