This beautiful Georgian Inn beside Killyleagh Castle, on the shores of Strangford Lough, is the perfect wedding venue. We cater for up to 150 guests with a fully licensed bar. Wedding reception venue in County Down, Northern Ireland. Dufferin Hall’s enchanting event space is perfect for all celebrations holding up to 100 people for dinner and 110 for dancing. The stunning reception hall & entry have been recently refurbished, maintaining their character and charm with stone steps.

There are few towns in Ireland where it is possible to walk from a fairy-tale castle along a main street running down to the shore. It has been a secret largely known only to locals. The Dufferin Coaching Inn is located half an hours drive from Belfast as well as being conveniently close to Downpatrick, Crossgar, Saintfield, Strangford, Newtownards, Ballygowan, Comber, Balloo, Killinchy and Whiterock. Dufferin Hall is part of the original Inn and stables, built in 1803, and offers a perfect backdrop for DIY brides and quirky wedding parties, while the attached seven room guesthouse includes uniquely decorated and well-appointed bedrooms perfect for a night’s stay following a late-night party.
