About Red Row Estate
Black Horse Beamish sits within the Red Row Estate in the Beamish valley of County Durham, with views across rolling countryside and one of the region’s few permanent marquees. Couples can choose between the Orchard Marquee and the George Ridley Suite for their civil ceremony and reception, with each space licensed so the day can flow without moving between venues.
The Orchard Marquee has its own bar, kitchen and restroom facilities and opens directly onto the surrounding fields, letting natural light and views of the landscape shape the celebrations. The George Ridley Suite occupies a historic building with original brick walls and fireplaces; its interior character contrasts with the marquee while still offering panoramic views over the valley. Both spaces are part of the wider estate, which includes lavender fields and outdoor areas that can be used for portraits or quieter moments during the day. Accommodation options are available on site for couples and guests. A wedding team works with couples from initial enquiry to the day itself to coordinate arrangements around the venue spaces and estate grounds.
