Since 1990 the former Manor House has been lovingly restored by the Salt family, retaining all of the original character and charm - from the sweeping drive in to the exposed limestone walls and original tiled floors. Set in the foothills of the Peak District on the picturesque 180 acre golf course and surrounded by green fields and wildflower meadows, this beautiful venue will have you and your guests feeling a million miles away from the rest of the world.
From the moment you arrive you will enjoy exclusive use of the Amber Suite and adjoining atrium. As a family run business, we treat every wedding as if it was our own.
Your experienced, passionate and dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be on hand, from the planning to your big day, to ensure all aspects of your wedding are as perfect as you’ve dreamed.
With two licensed rooms we are the perfect venue for civil weddings and partnerships of any size. For smaller weddings our Old Restaurant room provides an intimate,
romantic space and for larger weddings our Amber Suite can accommodate up to 120 guests for your ceremony.
The Amber Suite is a large and airy reception space perfect for dining and dancing. This Suite offers an opportunity to enjoy the courtyard which leads from the atrium where the reception drinks can be served. Your guests can enjoy canapés as they take in the stunning views of the golf course and countryside beyond,
before moving inside for a mouth-watering wedding breakfast. Celebrate at the end the day dancing the night away with your guests. Our Amber Suite offers the perfect party space with a private bar.
