Lower Damgate Farm in the Peak District Dovedale is a stunning location to host your wedding. Completely unique semi DIY over a weekend. The farm has far reaching views, licence for civil ceremonies both inside and out. Our Beautiful barn can host up to 160 seated guests. Included is Three nights luxury accommodation for 40 guests. Semi DIY. You create your day, we run it. 25% of all our bookings super Dovedale Animal Sanctuary where you’ll have the goats and alpacas joining you for your day!

Lower Damgate Farm is licenced for weddings and it situated close to Dovedale with stunning views over the Peak District National Park.
We are not your typical wedding reception or event venue but pride ourselves on offering you a venue with a difference. Rural, accessible, and surrounded by stunning scenery we have a perfect setting for any occasion with a relaxed and informal feel where nothing is a problem.
We only do a limited number of weddings a year and these support our onsite Dovedale Animal Sanctuary, though rescued all the animals love to photo bomb and help make your day completely unique and very special.
Exclusive hire is over a long weekend and includes accommodation in award winning cottages for up to 36 guests, plus we have a wild camping field!
Dovedale Barn is very different from a usual ‘farm barn’, as it has a high vaulted wooden ceiling which is strung with twinkly fairy lights. The barn has its own wow factor and creates the atmosphere for a completely different wedding day!
Facilities in the barn include a 4800 sqft barn with a lovely garden room with views across the farm and peaks, a bar, inhouse toilets and shower, a parlour and food area.
If you would like a wedding that is completely different, over three days, relaxed, happy, with your own theme and very much your own thing, plus a few goats, ponies and alpacas in your photographs, stunning far reaching views, hay meadows and the odd straw bale or two, then maybe we are for you!
