We have 4 beautiful functions rooms licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, whether you are looking for an intimate civil ceremony for 10 or a civil ceremony for 110, each room has its own unique character and charm to suit all your individual requirements. The Bedford is a stylish, atmospheric and distinctly romantic hotel in the heart of the award-winning Devon market town of Tavistock The hotel is licensed for your civil ceremony, or alternatively the parish church of St Eustachius is directly across the road. The Catholic parish church of Tavistock is less than a mile away. 31 comfortable, historic and individually designed rooms, ranging from cozy Classic Doubles to sumptuous four-posters (and the Bridal Suite is yours with the hotel’s compliments when you book a full wedding package). To guide you through your preparations, you will have the services of a dedicated Wedding Coordinator, who will help you plan every detail from your initial booking right through to the big day. The hotel has a comprehensive list of local suppliers, including decoration, flowers, wedding cars, photographers and musicians. The Bedford Hotel can cater for small, intimate weddings and large celebrations of up to 150 guests.
