About Royal Bath Hotel
The Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth sits on the seafront in secluded grounds a minute’s walk from the beach, with sea views and proximity to the town’s shopping district. Its long history dates back to opening on Queen Victoria’s Coronation Day in 1838, and space for weddings spans both indoor and outdoor settings.
Couples can choose from three licensed wedding spaces: the Kings Hall Suite, suited to larger celebrations with a dancefloor and staircase; the Bayview Suite, offering views over the gardens and Bournemouth Bay for more intimate ceremonies; and the Secret Garden, an outdoor area with a private gazebo and decking.
A dedicated Wedding Coordinator works with couples from first enquiry through planning, and menus can be bespoke or drawn from set packages. Reception food options range from canapés to evening buffets, tailored alongside the hotel’s culinary team.
Accommodation on site includes 208 bedrooms ranging from single and double rooms to suites, with special discounted rates available for wedding guests. Two named bridal suites — the Seascape Bridal Suite with sea view and balcony, and the Orchid Bridal Suite with garden access — are noted in the brochure. Beyond weddings themselves, the hotel’s leisure club features a 12-metre heated pool and gym facilities, and the gardens and seafront setting present photo opportunities linked directly to the venue’s waterside location.

On the morning of your wedding you can access and oversee all of your ceremony and reception spaces. In the months prior to your ceremony we will work hand in hand to plan and organise the space so that you dreams become reality.

Yes, there are. The Royal Bath Hotel can host over 400 guests at any one time, so we like to be considerate. However, all of our reception spaces were built for entertainment so feel free to let loose and enjoy your big day!

At The Royal Bath you can relax and leave the parking to us by making use of our Valet parking system. We will park your car in a secure and monitored site away from the bustle of the beach for £25 a night.
We have a number of excellent wedding packages for you to consider. The typical couple opts for our Classic Package which starts at £6,300 for 50 Day Guests and 80 Evening Guests.
We can comfortably host up to 140 Guests for your Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast, and up to 300 for your Evening Reception.
