For couples dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, our stunning outside space overlooks the historic moat and open countryside. For those planning a church wedding, St Margaret's Church, a beautiful historic parish church, sits just a stone's throw from the venue.
2 AA Rosette dining: Our award-winning restaurant team, who create bespoke menus using the finest local ingredients, cater for all our weddings in-house, creating food your guests will genuinely remember.
Bridal dressing room: Get ready in style, our beautiful Bridal Dressing Room overlooks the Essex countryside, giving you and your bridesmaids the perfect setting to enjoy those precious morning hours together.

Our culinary philosophy further supports this mission. Our 2AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, proudly source our produce from local Essex farms. This not only ensures your wedding breakfast features the freshest, highest-quality ingredients available, but it also heavily reduces food miles and the carbon emissions associated with imported goods. Supporting Our Community True sustainability includes caring for the people around us. We are proud to hire our team from local towns and villages. By championing local employment, we support our community’s economy while drastically reducing the environmental impact of daily staff commutes. Furthermore, we recycle everything we possibly can, and any remaining waste is redirected to an Energy from Waste facility, ensuring it bypasses landfill significantly lowering emissions. Restoring Nature’s Haven Our commitment extends into the very soil and water of the Hall. We have planted numerous trees to foster and shield local wildlife. Most passionately, we have completely restored our historic moat. Once thick with suffocating algae, we have cleared and revived the waters. Today, it is a thriving, oxygen-rich ecosystem where fish, frogs, ducks, and our resident heron can flourish, providing a beautiful, serene backdrop for your unforgettable day.
