The White Hart at Great Yeldham is a venue built around a 15th-century coaching inn with landscaped gardens of about four and a half acres and a newly refurbished barn available for exclusive hire. Couples can choose to hold their ceremony on a raised mezzanine floor inside the barn, bring their own registrar for a civil service, or exchange vows outside in the garden.

The timber-framed Essex Barn has high ceilings and large doors leading to the gardens, and with room for up to 200 guests it serves as both ceremony and reception space for larger celebrations. For smaller wedding breakfasts and gatherings the venue’s Garden Room offers a naturally lit private space for up to around 36 guests, and the Main Dining Room can seat about 42 when needed. All-inclusive wedding packages combine venue hire with a licensed bar, dance floor, white table linen and crockery, a bridal dressing room, a personal wedding advisor and catering options designed by the venue’s restaurant team, with food based on fresh local produce. The layout of the barns and adjoining gardens allows rooms and outdoor areas to flow through the day, and overnight accommodation in the hotel’s bedrooms and bridal suite is available on site.
