About Ashfield House
We are not a Manor, Hall or Estate. We are not a Barn, Hotel or Estate, we are ASHFIELD HOUSE. When couples take over exclusively for their wedding day, our house becomes like their home and we become like their extended family! We are an award winning Wedding venue in Standish, available with a license for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships. Taking the venue exclusively means you also taken all of the bedrooms for your special wedding guests. Let us help you create the day you've always wanted.
Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the personality of each couple. The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild – but not so hipster your Nan wont approve! Being an independent family business means we let couples do their thing without a load of silly rules getting in the way. We love drinking coffee and brainstorming about how to make weddings awesome – and with a layout designed specifically for weddings, mind blowing in house catering and 15 guest bedrooms we really do ace it - Shameless brag… we’ve won A LOT of awards! Most recently the Great Northern Wedding Awards Best Venue (Town/City) 2024! We are super proud to have been crowned the UK’s best Wedding Venue 2017, 2018 & 2019, North West’s Best Events Team 2017 & 2018 in The Wedding Industry Awards along and awards for Innovation from The Great Northern Wedding awards and if things carry on this way we’ll have to build an extension for all the trophies!
