The Great Barn is one of the few historic venues in Hampshire to hold a full ceremony licence from Hampshire Registrars. Your wedding ceremony will take place on our exquisite, renovated oak stage with its oak hayloft back drop. From the barn’s raked seated auditorium your family and friends will all get the perfect view of the wedding ceremony. The Great Barn is situated at the end of its own private driveway, surrounded by secluded gardens, open fields, fishing lakes and a country park.

A booking with us includes a 3-day hire. This typically includes the Friday (12 noon – 6pm)for set up, decoration etc, the Saturday for your big day and then the Sunday morning for clear up. All we ask is that
you take away everything that came in with you, but you will have the venue until midday on the Sunday
to do this, it will not feel rushed. Unlike most venues in the area, we do not have any in house suppliers,
just those we know will work hard to make sure you have the perfect day. This does mean that your day
can be entirely tailored for you. Our team will be more than happy to help you find the perfect supplier, but we will certainly not be upset if you already have someone in mind that you would love to use! This
includes catering, bar and entertainment companies.
The venue can hold up to 150 seated guests for the Wedding Breakfast plus 50 additional evening guests.
